Jonathan looking pensive Jonathan contemplates the view of the Percuil River from the boatyard. His fascination with boats began in early childhood, and he started his boatbuilding business after graduating from Boat Building at Falmouth College in the early 80s. Since then his lifelong love of all boats combined with his obsession with quality has led to the reputation that J.P. Leach enjoys today, for their meticulous dedication to building quality boats.

J.P. Leach have built 5 ocean rowing vessels which have competed in the Ocean Rowing Challenges. All of these have successfully completed the courses, some of them several times.
